Our business is the online retail of indoor and outdoor home lighting. This is not a regulated profession and we are not a member of any professional body whose rules apply to our activities.
Prices, taxes and delivery
All prices shown on this website are in pounds sterling and include VAT. The price shown at checkout is the total price payable.
All orders are shipped on a delivered duty paid basis. No customs charges, import duties or handling fees are payable by you on delivery.
Delivery within the United Kingdom is free. Estimated delivery is 7–13 working days from order, comprising 1–3 working days processing and 6–10 working days delivery. We dispatch and deliver Monday to Friday. Full details are in our shipping policy.
Your cancellation and return rights
You have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We voluntarily extend this to 30 days. Full details, including how to cancel and the model cancellation form, are in our returns and refunds policy.
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect of faulty, misdescribed or unfit goods are separate from and additional to the right to cancel, and are not affected by anything on this website.

All sales made through this website are subject to our terms and conditions, which are available on this website at all times and can be saved and reproduced. Please read them before placing an order. The contract is concluded in English.

If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@alouver.com with the subject line "Complaint" and your order number. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and respond in full within 14 days.
We are not currently a member of an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme and are not obliged to use one. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you can obtain free, independent advice from Citizens Advice at citizensadvice.org.uk or on 0808 223 1133, and you retain the right to bring a claim in the courts.
Governing law
Contracts concluded through this website are governed by Dutch law. Where you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of the United Kingdom, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of the United Kingdom.
