ALOUVER began with a simple belief: a home should feel calm, considered and entirely your own, and nothing shapes that feeling more than light. Yet beautiful lighting, from a sculptural pendant to a glowing stone sconce, is too often overpriced.
We set out to change that by curating lighting in warm materials and simple forms that bring quiet character to a room, at prices that make sense.
What we offer
- Indoor lighting: wall lights, pendant lights, ceiling lights and table and floor lamps.
- Outdoor lighting: outdoor wall lights for facades, entrances, terraces and gardens.
- Materials: alabaster and alabaster-look, travertine and marble, glass and wood. Each product page states exactly what a piece is made of.
How we do it
We select every piece from a small group of specialist lighting suppliers and ship it straight to your door. There is no showroom and no warehouse of unsold stock to pay for, which helps us keep our prices fair.
The trade-off is honest and we will not hide it: delivery takes 7–13 working days rather than next day. We tell you upfront rather than at checkout.
What we believe
Calm is a design choice. We favour natural materials, soft light and warm, neutral tones, pieces that make a room feel settled rather than busy.
Price should not mean compromise. We keep costs down by keeping our overheads low, not by cutting corners.
Say the important thing first. Dimensions, materials, fittings, delivery times and return costs are stated clearly, so you never discover something important after you have paid.
Buying from us
- Free UK delivery on every order. The price at checkout is the price you pay, with no customs charges or import fees on the doorstep.
- 30 days to change your mind, twice the 14 days the law requires. See how a light looks in your own space before you decide.
- Refunds within 3–5 working days of your return reaching us and being inspected.
- A real person on the other end. Email us and you get an answer, usually within 24 hours.
